Installation of overhead line automatization solution. Intelligent disconnector IDD

Intelligent disconnector is used on the basic objects of modern power system. Installed on overhead power lines, it sectionalizes the line, disconnecting the damaged section when a fault is detected and powering the line when the voltage is restored. The disconnector can be operated remotely in local mode using the control buttons, or in manual mode. Installation of the disconnector shown in the video was carried out in August 2018 in the facility of PJSC "Network company" (Republic of Tatarstan, Russia).
